The 5 Ways You Can Save Money And Earn Money With Shopkick
1. Walk Ins – You can walk in a store and get walk in kicks (usually 10 kicks). Open the app as you walk in the store and it's going to give you points (usually 10) for just walking into that store! Some stores that Shopkick will give you "walk in" kicks are CVS, Walmart, Home Depot, Target and Kroger.
2. Scans – There's going to be a list of each store that Shopkick works with and there will be a tab called Scans. Under the Scans there are different products in the store that you can scan the UPS bar code and get kicks. You don't have to purchase anything to receive the scan points but some will have additional kicks you can earn for purchasing the product. Some of the scans will just award your kicks and other scans will ask you questions. Some of the questions include…did you know about this product before seeing it in the Shopkick app, did you come to the store to purchase the product, if you didn't purchase the product will you purchase it in a certain time frame.
3. Receipts or Linked Cards – There will be a list for each store and what products are included. It will have the kicks under the product that you'll receive when you purchase the product and submit a picture of your receipt. If it's a store that has a Savers card or you a card you can link the kicks will automatically apply to your account and you won't have to take a picture of your receipt. There are some stores like Ulta and Marshalls that if you link your card you'll get 2 kicks per $1 spent.
How much are you getting back on the product? Here's an example – Shopkick is offering 1000 kicks on Olay Ultra Moisture Body Wash. To figure this out you would multiply 1000 x .004 which equals $4. By purchasing this product you would receive $4 back from shopkick and it also has a scan available for 15 kicks so you want to do that too. You just saved $4.06 when you purchased this product.
4. Shopping Online – If you prefer to shop online Shopkick has a online tab that lists the stores that you can receive kicks back for purchasing at that store.
5. Discover Tab – This is a good tab to go to daily because it has different short videos of products that you can earn kicks just for watching. This is under the Discover tab and you will see the amount of kicks available under the video. After the video is done your kicks will be credited. Not all of the videos have kicks so just be on the lookout for the blue kicks under the video and you can score that way!
